REFLECTION

A person who is media literate can clearly describe the role of media in their lives. Also, he/she understand the basics of various media and enjoys using them intentionally in a conscious way.

In media and information literacy subject (MIL) is how to be a media and information literate individual and the proper way of using the internet. because of the social media we can communicate easily to our family & friends far away with us. It’s so easy to get caught up in preparing for our future career that we forget that media information literacy is the best time to learn is the best time to pick up new skills, to challenge our self. It’s just so interesting how media information literacy brings together people from all over the world, with such a various experiences, beliefs and dreams.

In this subject I learn a lot of learnings that I can apply in my everyday life. We are all media literate in some way. The only thing to do is to carefully analyze and evaluate how can become more critical of the information which the dominant institutions in society feed us.
